"Generous and tastie breakfast. Lovely green location with lots of wildlife to see. We saw monkeys macraw hummingbird iguanas here comfy bed and pillows great a/c. Very friendly and helpful staff."

The property we stayed in was a great size overall and very clean. The staff on site were all very nice and always on hand to answer any questions. "We absolutely loved our stay at Bongo Hotel – it was one of our favourite places in Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome, and the staff were consistently kind, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious, spotless and very comfortable, and the pool is a perfect size for a proper swim or simply cooling off after a day of sightseeing. The whole property is beautifully maintained, creating a calm, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts were the best we had during our travels – fresh, delicious and the perfect start to each day. Having monkeys and macaws join you at breakfast only makes the experience even more unforgettable! It’s also wonderfully quiet location, which makes it feel even more special.
