"It's a little hidden gem of a suite. SUPER quiet, clean and good value. Not the greatest location, but the whole area is quite small so it really doesn't matter."

Location, but that is a really minor concern.

"A good place to start a hike. There is hot water in the rooms. The air conditioner can be set to heat. Guest house accommodated us despite our late arrival."

There isn't any saucepan on the kitchen.

"WE WERE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO STAY WHILE VISITING LOCAL ATTRACTIONS IN NIZWA. SINCE WE HAD A RENTAL CAR WE COULD EASILY MOVE FROM PLACE TO PLACE SO THE LOCATION OF SAFARI HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT, WHILE FAR AWAY FROM CENTAL NIZWA, BUT VERY NEAR, JUST OPPOSITE THE LULU HIPERMARKET, WHICH WAS A BONUS TO PICK UP THE NECESSITIES FOR OUR FURTHER TRAVELS. EXCEPTIONAL HOSTS, BOTH LADIES AT THE RECEPTION WERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY.WHILE THE FIRST NIGHT WAS A LITTLE NOISY BECAUSE THE ROOM FACED THE MAIN ROAD AND THE ROUNDABOUT, BUT WE LIKED THE HOTELS SO MUCH THAT WE DECIDED TO SPEND ANOTHER NIGHT SO WE JUST WERE OFFERED ANOTHER ROOM AT THE BACK OF THE PROPERTY, AND THAT WAS VERY COMFORTABLE STAY. THE ROOMS ARE MODERN, CLEAN, WITH COMFORTABLE BEDS. I AM SURE THAT WHEN I DECIDE TO VISIT OMAN, AND NIZWA AGAIN IN THE FUTURE I WILL HAPPILY STAY AT THE SAFARI HOTEL AND CAN RECOMMEND IT WHOLEHEARTEDLY TO OTHER VISITORS TO NIZWA."

PROBABLY ALL THE ROOMS FACING THE MAIN ROAD ARE A LITTLE NOISY DUE THE TRAFFIC, AND SINCE OUR FIRST NIGHT WAS A FRIDAY NIGHT, THE TRAFFIC WAS ALMOST CONSTANT, BUT WE JUST ASKED FOR A ROOM FACING THE BACK.

"This lovely little bungalow is just steps from the beach and very relaxing. There was a kitchen, which was nice for cooking breakfast and not having to eat at restaurants each day. It was also very nice to have access to a washing machine and the air conditioner worked well. We were very comfortable. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions. The location is isolated so it would be best to either rent a car or make sure you have a cell data pack and use Otaxi to travel to other places in Muscat. It isn't really within walking distance of anything. There is a very small grocery store and simple restaurant at the other end of the parking lot, so we didn't have to travel far for basic supplies."

It would have been nice to have kitchen basics like cooking oil, salt, pepper. We had to buy all of that in order to be able to cook just a few meals (for a 3 day stay). It also had a clothes dryer listed in amenities, but there was only a washer. The outside sitting area could also be made much nicer, and the "pool" was a very small (maybe 6 foot by 3 foot?) kids' pool with lots of leaves and water on the cover, so I doubt anyone except those with very small kids would consider using it.
