"Fantastic experience! The camp is located in the desert (15 min drive through the dunes) and can only be reached with a 4x4 or pick-up by the camp staff which needs to be arranged beforehand. It really feels like staying in the middle of the desert with no other camp to be seen. The tents are quite big and nicely decorated, each with a private outdoor bathroom connected to the tent. In the evening at 8pm there is a buffet dinner with a bonfire afterwards. Highly recommend!"

"most beautiful place to stay in Huacachina very quiet at night very peaceful the staff is very friendly we had first a tent down but we were not so happy about this tent because more up you have a better view and more a area to chill out in front of the tent and we could change without problem they gave as the best tent after breakfast is amazing never had so much food for breakfast also the pool very clean and you couldnt smell any chlor so best value for the money highly recommend to stay there"

The way to get there is very adventurous. I arrived in the dark and I wasn't really sure I am at the right place because of the road. Quite scary.

First of all please do not rely on the reviews here. The most one I think are fake reviews. This is now the real situation at this so called Nature "hotel". Flies flies flies. Everywhere thousand of flies. Flies in the rooms, flies in the restaurant everywhere you will have the flies. This is an indicator about the bad hygiene in this hotel. I have booked to so called King Room with Mountain view. It sounds very friendly but the reality is totally a horror. The room is very dirty and most issue it is wet and everywhere you see mold. When you enter the room you smell the moldy air. Absolutely unhealthy enviroment. Even the bedding is moldy and wet. The floor is wet. The walls are wet. We have to use hair dryer to have a little bit dry feeling when we sleep. But we could not sleep very well. Very terrible situation. Beside the moldy enviroment the room cleanless is terrible. Everywhere died flies and their feces. Stains on bedding and hairs. The bathroom was so dirty that we have avoided to take a shower. The toilet was not cleaned. The breakfast was consist of only rice and noodle and some unfresh cakes. On the food there are a lot of flies. They have a menu but most ones are not available. So we ate some noodle but was very low quality. Now my frustration. I have paid 1.4mRP for one night. In Indonesia you can stay in a very good 4 star Hotel for this price. I have requested a refund but the owner/staff was very unfriendly and not collaborative. For 200kRP you can stay in Bromo/Tosari in every homestay which is more better than this kind. So dont rely on the pics and reviews. The guys are cheating in a high level. Please be really careful to book this hotel. I have already claimed to booking.com. Would be great if they can provide double bed options for couples, but other than that, it was great.

"My friend and I stayed here in October for a few nights. It was lovely. We were upgraded to a really nice safari type tent room which was very cool / cosy. The whole place had such a nice, peaceful vibe. The staff were great - so helpful, especially Amos, Diana and Thomas. Highly recommend staying here"

"Went there to paddle the river. The team on duty went out of their way to make me welcome. This is the off season so they made a special effort to do the river trip with me. Equipment was very modern and well kept. I was a bit out of practice so I felt in safe hands with my guides. Accomodation was great. The place has been built from scratch and with a lot of thought. Just what you need when doing river trips in Nepal."

"Nice bungalows, nice views from the breakfast area, very quiet and peaceful area, I loved the breakfast."

On Weekends it gets quite loud at the pool area as it is open to foreigners and restaurant guets in general.
