"There is nothing quite like this amazing experience. Completely alone in the desert in a beautifully designed, spacious tent. The setup is stylish and comfortable, and waking up to nothing but sand dunes in every direction is pretty hard to beat. Meals are driven out to you across the desert, with camels and goats wandering over to say hello, sunrise from the bed. At night, you can see a sky full of stars. It was truly magical"

"It was cosy , clean and had all the requirements we needed , great bed nice warm cosy cabin .Great trips Nikol and James excellent northern light and husky walk the morning / definitely recommend super friendly guys and we got to see the lights."

Nothing much , staff that worked in the office could have been friendlier, like greet and show a interest when you come for breakfast, but not much more to mention . Great stay

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"Great set up, breakfast, it poured with rain one night and the tent was dry as a bone. Dog loved it. Didn’t use the swimming pool but looked good for families. Good showers and communal cooking facilities."

We honestly cannot understand some of the negative comments regarding the food, as our experience was excellent in every aspect. If you are looking for tranquility, stunning desert scenery, and warm hospitality, this is the perfect place. We would return anytime!"

It is hard to think of something i did not like. Overall the experience was great.

"Amazing, unbelievable, untouched nature. If you like camping, search no more! Great value for the price, comfy tents and great food. Also, you have free equipment to explore the lake..."

Road to the camp is not in the best conditions.

"This is a great example how a passionate and lovely host turns a simple but beautiful accomodation into a five star place, in harmony with the surrounding nature. We loved every moment here and definitely want to come back."

"The location, the tents, the food and the staff were excellent. A lovely rustic place to stay! Really enjoyed the night walk, the canoe ride as well as the sounds of the jungle at night. The tents were incredible apart from it being really hot and give you the true feeling of being close to nature. The staff is very prompt and attentive and we really enjoyed the local food cooked with ingredients from the neighbouring areas."

It was quite hot and the fan was available only for a few hours each day.
