"The location of the camp is amazing. The host/driver picked us up in Douz and drove around 120Km in the desert. The ride was crazy, if you have motion sickness, be prepared. The dinner in the camp was really really good, better than our expectation. The starry night was also stunning, we saw so many stars in the pitch black night. The hosts were also nice."

To be fair, both our driver and host doesn't really speak English, so communiation was kinda poor. To me the ride in the desert was a bit too much, I felt dizzy the whole day after. Lastly, the price was also quite high - one night for a camp 140 euro plus 140 euro for the desert ride which is not included in the booking price page.

"Michel is a great host. He shares a lot about the area and the wildlife. Cabins are cosy and clean. You will eat among other travelers around a nice fire pit. Overall a great experience for all visitors."

We honestly cannot understand some of the negative comments regarding the food, as our experience was excellent in every aspect. If you are looking for tranquility, stunning desert scenery, and warm hospitality, this is the perfect place. We would return anytime!"
