"The family that runs this Pansion was very kind, from the very beginning till we left the place. They showed us a map and gave directions to S. The room is not well ventilated and a bit stuffy in hot day.

"Very strongly recommend: Airbnb is part of a beautiful villa in safe residential neighbourhood. Private parking on the ground of the villa. The studio with the two double beds is huge and spotlessly clean. The bathroom is also very spacious. The hostess and host are extremely kind and very respectful of privacy, etc. Optional breakfast is offered - excellent coffee, fresh croissants or pain au chocolate, etc. You can hear the ocean which is some 200 m further."

We liked absolutely everything. We could list many more things we liked like the swimming pool which is long enough to swim into and warm.

"Vila nuostabioje vietoje, daug žalumos, netoli autobusų į/iš Rimini stotelė, maždaug 1km iki keltuvo į Monte Titano. Ideali švara, balkonas, privati vonia ir tualetas. Keturvietis kambarys šeimai kiek ankštokas. Tai kompensuoja erdvus balkonas, tačiau šiuo dideliu privalumu sunku pasinaudoti - jame trūksta bent poros patogesnių kėdžių. Išnaudojus laiko praleidimui balkoną, būtų gerokai išspręstos vietos problemos.

"The place is nicely decorated, very tidy and in a quiet safe area but little far from the sea. For people which like waliking like me is ok. Also can rent bike for free. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok and you could also order some food for lunch at a good price. Manja is an excellent cook and prepares local specialties. Internet was mostly ok. The pool was clean and a very relaxing place to spend time."

Sometimes a problem with taxis. Some of them don't know this place. You have to negotiate the price which can be very diffrent. (from 100 to 500 dalasies).

"This was a surprisingly quiet, super well maintained accommodation on the outskirts of Lira. A great stopover spot on the way to/from Kidepo NP with a beautiful tranquil garden in which you can enjoy breakfast."

The smaller cabins are a little tightly packed together, but not an issue unless you're on honeymoon 🤗

We didn't get a room by the pool as we had booked. Very slow service at breakfast. Old dusty furniture/kitchen equipment etc in public areas should be taken away for a better experience. The poolbar had very limited assortment.

"Everything was ok, the accommodation is very near to the airport, only about 15 minutes walk, so it´s great if you have long hours to wait for your next flight. Also, you can find many restaurants and cafeterias around and the neighborhood looked good and safe."

I got a room in rhe endcof the corridor very few guests so the hot water didn't come before I stopped showering. But no big deal.

"Good location near the main street with bus stop and supermarkets and restaurants. Room is clean and bathroom is newly renovated. Although the room is next to a main street there was no traffic noise. Great with parking included and breakfast included. Good with some cookies and dried wasa bread and coffee is available all day."

The wardrobe in the room was broken, the door cannot be opened. A towel for the floor in the bathroom was missing. The breakfast is a simple business breakfast and not a holiday breakfast buffet. Stairs to come to your room. So if you have luggage it is a bit trouble.

There were a lot of roaches in the bathroom, quite impressive to still find these in December. I was provided with the access codes 2 hours after the check-in time, although i tries reaching out to them several times (booking, call and text message). They finally replied with the codes only about 20 mins before I got to the place.

"Tine and Frank were great hosts. Even though our travel plans were disrupted by airline problems they were able to accommodate us without extra cost. Breakfast on the balcony was unforgettable. A real tropical experience even though the airport was within easy reach. Frank's menagerie was a real highlight."

"This place was so comfy and cozy! I arrived at 7:30am from an overnight flight and they let me in and got me coffee to start and i was able to relax by the pool until a room was ready for me. The beds are so comfy and there's a lot of space. it's a very quiet street. Safe area you can walk around. They let me store my luggage on the day I was leaving as I had a later flight."

"Maguy and her husband are excellent hosts. Very friendly, breakfast is a lovely surprise every day with local fruit and dishes, made with love. Peaceful, quiet place where you find your peace. With only 2 rooms you almost are alone in the property and the swimmingpool. As we had our flight in the evening we could enjoy the whole day of the facilities. Magnificent view, a little paradise on earth. The room is very spacious with ensuite bathroom. If we can mention one thing to improve: the shower needs a renovation. Further on make sure you have good products to keep the mosquitos away. But absolutely no reason to stay away from this quiet little gem!"

"Location was amazing, the food you can have at the izakaya was amazing. They could speak english and one of the person working there translated the whole menu for us. They have a great system in place for the shared showers so don’t be worried about that. Hateruma is a gorgeous place to explore, highly recommend! Also booking system was super easy."

The room was very simple and the mattress was hard as a rock, but overall not bad at all.

Very nice outdoor swimming pool and whole place in a gated secure compound. Basic continental breakfast that you help yourself to in the communal kitchen. Owners are lovely and very helpful. "This hotel was absolutely charming. Everything felt easy and relaxed, and everyone was incredibly helpful and chill from the moment I arrived. I loved my room, the beach, the food… honestly, everything. A special mention to Rudi at the breakfast restaurant — she was truly lovely and made my morning better with the delicious mimosa she prepared for me. I ended up extending my stay by one more night, and the team helped me move everything seamlessly to my new room. Since it was raining and I was leaving that day, they even proactively offered to put some of my clothes in the dryer because they had been hanging outside, which was such a thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to go back. Waking up to those views is something I’ll never forget — everything was just perfect."

"If I were the Michelin commissioner, I would award Happy Villa with three stars: Worth for an independent tour. This place has everything, plus your host will make you feel at home. Our stay was simply too short to enjoy all the options this accommodation offers. It is also positioned well for island exploration. Oh, and not mentioning superb breakfast starting with a healthy shot. You will be in good hands and with a full stack of options for every day of exploration of charming Dominica."
