"1) Perfect location for those who want to explore the island, stay away from the tourist hot spot and experience “real” Aruba. 2) The house is very atmospheric and cozy, with lots of wooden furniture, an old wooden staircase that creaks charmingly, and a balcony from where you can observe iguanas on a large ficus tree just a few meters away. 3) Ingrid is an amazing host and a lovely person. She gave us great travel advice and was there when needed, without being intrusive. 4) Breakfast was just amazing!"

No hot water didn’t come as a surprise since we had read the reviews. Even though it’s common in Aruba, it’s worth mentioning.

"Simples e aconchegante, quarto tamanho médio, frigorífico em ótimas condições, jarra elétrica no quarto, há 6 chás 2 águas, a cama era confortável, macia, lençóis brancos, macio e pareciam bem limpos, toalhas brancas limpas e cheirosas, o quarto parecia limpo, TV em ótimo funcionamento, fácil acesso, fácil contato com administradores, 1km do centro mais ou menos. Casa de banho em bom estado, parecia limpo, com sabonete e tapete a água quente boa."

"The traditional Cypriot style and the charming little decorations perfectly matched my taste. The small balcony outside the room was so cute and cozy. The homemade meal had a unique flavor I had never experienced before and made me feel healthy. The hosts were very kind and happily explained the village bus schedule and how to get to our destinations. They gave my sister and me an unforgettable memory. "I had a really lovely stay at Tribute Guest House in Lesotho. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out. The lady at reception was incredibly kind and helpful. On my way to the guest house, my car got stuck in the mud, and she went out of her way to call a driver to check on me and assist. She really didn’t have to do that, but she did, and I truly appreciated it. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. It was a bit cold at times, but that can be forgiven given the area and weather. The location was good and peaceful, which made it easy to relax. The amenities were great, the food was fresh and very enjoyable, and the WiFi worked well the whole time with no connection issues. What I liked most was the genuine care and kindness from the staff, along with how comfortable the stay was overall. There wasn’t much I didn’t like, except for the slight cold in the room. I would definitely book again, especially with my family next time."

"Cleanliness, location, easy check-in and wonderful breakfast. We stayed there on our way to Oslo. But a great stop for nearby national parks and also during winters offers lots of activities. Very cool property. Even though there is a shared bathroom it was clean all the time and it was available."

Everything was perfect. It’s my thing as I am a light sleeper and hence wherever it’s wooden cottage and people make noise, it’s hard to sleep quickly.

The room was very simple and the mattress was hard as a rock, but overall not bad at all.

"Accommodations are simple but very comfortable. Nice swimming pool right out the hotel room door. Short walk to the water. We really enjoyed diving. My 18yr old son got PADI certified. They did an awesome job with him. Nassar was his instructor. He was awesome! Area was very safe."

No complaints. Please understand that tourism is severely impacted by the Gazan war. Many hotels and restaurants are closed and those that are open often are operating in a limited capacity. For example hotel restaurants might not operate at all. This affects all hotels. There were almost no tourists as of November 2025.

"This hasn't been my first stay at Chez Giuliana and it won't be the last – it's a family-run place that makes you feel at home, especially in a place like Ouagadougou, where finding a place that feels genuinely caring can make all the difference, There is nothing impersonal about this place. Staff is welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is served on the terrace – fresh fruit, coffee and cakes baked in-house. My rooms was comfortable and impeccably clean. Wi-fi connection is very reliable, which is great for me as I need it for work."

"If I were the Michelin commissioner, I would award Happy Villa with three stars: Worth for an independent tour. This place has everything, plus your host will make you feel at home. Our stay was simply too short to enjoy all the options this accommodation offers. It is also positioned well for island exploration. Oh, and not mentioning superb breakfast starting with a healthy shot. You will be in good hands and with a full stack of options for every day of exploration of charming Dominica."

Nothing really. Except that the stay here was too short to enjoy all the options. Our mistake afterall. And I said that already anyway.

"The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful, the garden is beautiful, the bungalows are nice. The location is good, neighborhood is silent, but it is a bit away from the busy areas and restaurants, so you need a car (but you need a car on Mahe anyway, so that is ok). There is a tiny, silent beach in 2 mins walk. If you prefer kind, local guesthouse owners and hospitality over luxury hotels, this is your place."

The beds are a bit firm.

"Basically evertyhing. I was traveling alone in off-season. I've been there alone so I got the whole house for myself. The breakfast served in full with many options like the place was full, that was amazing."

"Steve & Geri are terrific hosts, and the kind of people you want to meet when you’re travelling. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and fun to talk to. The B&B location is both convenient for arrivals, and well-placed for a walk along the southern coast beaches. The decor of the room is also well-suited to provide character. Enjoyed the breakfast."
