"The two hosts of the Appartement Hotel are very accommodating and helpful! The location is great, the roof terrace wonderful. We didn't get the apartment which first booked, but two at no extra charge. At first I was skeptical about the change, but the two hosts communicated this honestly and transparently."

We had two apartments, one was quiet, the other had the windows on the side with various bars, this was a bit noisy. It should be noted that this is a busy old and nice town area.

"Loved our host. Went above and beyond for us. She was great with our kids. Helped with a hire car and even dropped around some food."

Very minor but would be nice to have hot water from the tap in the sink to wash dishes. We could get hot water from the shower or put the kettle on to do dishes with.

He really takes care of his guests in every way and makes sure, you‘re always taken good care of. I can also recommend this place as very safe for solo female travelers. "We had a very comfortable and quiet 2 week stay in the Sunset Room. The entire cottage is beautiful and immaculately kept by Demi. We had everything we needed to cook at home but also enjoyed many meals out at local restaurants. Our morning coffee on the balcony before our daily walks on Shoal Bay beach (5 min drive away) were a great way to start each day. Use of the laundry facilities was much appreciated. Hot shower, quality towels, linens and bath products. Demi was very helpful with recommendations. The location was great as we had a car to explore the island. Nothing in Anguilla is far. We loved everything about the island and would highly recommend any of the rooms at The Hidden Cottage."

"The accommodation is a little out of the way, but is an absolute winner in terms of price-performance ratio. There is nothing missing. About a 25 minute walk to a well-stocked supermarket and the top restaurant Papa Figo. To the beach, turn left and go straight on. There is also a bank branch with an ATM on the way."

"The apartment welcomes us in a sparkling clean condition with all the home equipment that we need. It has a private car park with security, we felt safe around the neighbourhood. It is worth mentioning that the apartment is located in a very convenient neighbourhood. Will surely recommend!"

"Location near the sea and grocery store. Found also a home bakery nearby. Beautiful, a bit rustic town under pine trees. Sandy beach and lot of quiet streets to discover. Appartment was warm, nice, and had all the basic things. Lovely yard."

There was no bed sheet for the second bed (sofa), and when we opened the sofa, there was sand from the previous visitors. The hosts reacted to our request and it was cleaned. Some other tiny issues - only 2 mugs in the cupboard (4 glasses), and the 3rd cup was found on the floor of shower room. We missed washing up liquid and kitchen towels too.
