"The hosts are wary kind, the place is wary close to the beach just across the street. There is a super market near by (100m). The apartment is equipped with a very big kitchen and air conditioning in every room separably. In September it was wary quiet and relaxing."

"Très bon emplacement à deux pas de la mer. Lits confortables (+ le canapé est un convertible). Clim/chauffage efficace. Grands logements. Grande douche. Propreté ok. Hôte attentionné et réactif à nos demandes. Nous avons réservé les trois logements pour un séjour à 3 familles. La Villa del Sol était exactement ce qu'il nous fallait 👍 Si nous revenons à Golem/Durres nous réserverons à nouveau ce logement."

"The perfect location right next to the castle with the best view. The hosts were amazing(even though they only speak Albanian) , their hospitality was amazing. Always smiling and made us feel like family. You will be served with an excellent breakfast with fairly big portions.We enjoyed our walk uphill and there are taxis if you prefer as well. They helped us to get a taxi on the day we checked out. Such a perfect stay and hoping to come back soon.."

"The owner offered us transport from Tirana airport to the accommodation, in a luxury class car, and I want to say that after 3 hours of sleep, a delayed flight and many other difficulties, the 2-hour drive to Vlore was not even -I felt! The accommodation is very close to the shops, it is 10-15 minutes from Lungo Mare, it is perfect for 2 people, maybe even 4. It is clean, spacious, the apartments is very well insulated and kept cool, I had everything I needed. It was a successful stay, although it was short and for the first time in Albania, I can say that I will recommend this to everyone and this man who went out of our way and with whom I talked the whole way! great experience!"

"This is such a beautiful place with wonderful hosts. The views are spectacular and I'll always remember drinking my morning coffee looking out across the valley and mountains. I would say that the dinner was the best meal I've had in Albania (out of 2 visits), washed down with some tasty wine. The room was very smart and comfortable with a great mattress and good shower. If walking from Valbone, look for the well marked sign at the top of the valley before you head down into Cerem. The location avoids the big descent and morning ascent back up. You just follow the road up until you reach the cafe and re-join the trail. Just ask the hosts if you're not sure. They also provided a big packed lunch."
