"While the location has a specific style, they manage to keep everything very clean which is an impressive feat! The beds are also very comfortable. The swimming pool is quite large and deep which makes for some good swimming!"
"The breakfast, while solid, does not provide any choices other than type of coffee, sure to get boring if you stay more than 2 nights. There is also noone available for ordering drinks after approx 22:30-23:00, this includes water"
"Quirky mock castle, fun place to stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Food perfectly adequate but basic, staff super helpful, pool was clean. There are 6 sunbeds which we thought wouldn’t be enough but actually this was ample. The locals pop in for coffee in the morning which gives it a real community feel. There is only 1 choice for breakfast but this is very much the Albanian way. There is a supermarket about 10 mins walk but beware you have to cross a very busy main road."
"The bathroom has been designed as a wet room which didn’t really work, after each shower we ended mopping up the water with spare towels. Travelling into Tirana is challenging, we didn’t have a hire car, the best option is to get a taxi to Komananti and then bus from there. Very little to walk out to. The hotel is used as an events venue, we were there over a weekend and there was a wedding during the day Saturday, Sunday night music to 3.30am and Monday a birthday party to 1am, this doesn’t bother us but if you are light sleepers this might not be the place for you."
"It was a beautiful hotel, the restaurant food was delicious and well priced. The pool was good too for our young boys."
"We couldn’t use the pool one evening because of a wedding, they did give advanced notice but said it would only be closed for an hour, in reality it was much longer and by the time we could use it the boys had gone to sleep as it was late. We found a dirty plate on top of a wardrobe in our room on arrival - to be fair would be hard for anyone cleaning the room to spot."
